Essa música sempre me foi meio indigesta mas, ao longo do tempo, consegui assimilar. O George já havia feito experiências com elementos de música indiana, no "Rubber Soul" ("Norwegian Wood") e "Revolver" ("Love you to") mas aqui a música é totalmente indiana. É curioso como a sequencia de acordes sugere (para mim ao menos) o desenrolar de uma cobra, pronta para atacar. Da mesma maneira que existem estereótipos de Brasil por todo o mundo, o mesmo acontece com Índia. Naqueles dias a música e cultura indiana eram modelo para se livrar dos vícios da sociedade ocidental que, se não fossem aniquilados, nos levariam para um caos tecnológico conduzindo as pessoas a um isolamento tal que a temida solidão seria um status e não uma condição. A solução não estava no oriente mas dentro de cada um como a poesia do George diz.
